Thankfully we captured photos of some special moments from the last home game and didn't assume weeks later we would be back in our home stadium for the NCAA Tournament first round games.

Maryland won 17 straight games to end the season, finished with a 28-4 record, and an AP #4 ranking.

The Terrapins went 16-2 in Big Ten play to clinch their fifth Big Ten championship in six years. They beat Ohio State, 85-62, in the Big Ten Tournament championship game on March 8, 2020 to win their fourth tournament title.



COVID-19 | CoronaVirus

The NCAA canceled its men's and women's basketball tournaments because of the spread of the coronavirus, putting an abrupt end to the season less than a month before champions were to be crowned.

The unprecedented move came a day after the NCAA announced the games that were scheduled would be played in mostly empty arenas. That plan was scrapped as every major American sports league including NBA, NHL, and MLB put the brakes on its season due to concerns about the pandemic.
