About Buzzy
I am a University of Maryland graduate attending Terps sporting events since the age of seven. I was a ball-boy for the men's basketball team for six years. The player relationships formed over the years resulted in lifetime memories that likely wouldn't happen in modern-day sports. One highlight was sitting on the ACC Basketball Tournament team bench in Greensboro, North Carolina, culminating with a championship when the Terps beat Duke!

While I enjoy capturing family photos, my ultimate purpose is to share stunning 'reference-point' visual stories in life that may have an impact on the athletes playing the sports they love.
I hope each time an athlete I have captured with an epic image faces adversity or a mental health storm, they use their photograph as a reference point to appreciate they are forever "Badass & Beautiful."

There were many newspaper appearances during the ten years of attending ACC Tournaments. So it was funny returning to school with a sick note one March day when the principal pulled me aside to let me know he saw me in The Washington Post with Buck Williams #52.

As you watch the Ernie Graham YouTube video dedicated to Terps 100 | December 20, 1978 | Ernie Graham Scores School Record 44 Points, just after the 2 minute mark the commentator says "Another facet that makes him such a complete player is that he is a BRILLIANT FREE THROW SHOOTER!"
Before the Lefty's Basketball Camp picture above was taken with Ernie Graham and Larry Gibson, I asked Ernie to teach me how to shoot a Free Throw. He asked, 'Why?' I told him the camp had a 'Free Throw Contest' that I felt I might have a chance of winning if he helped me master the art of free throw shooting. He invested a few minutes, and I won the free throw shooting contest and every basketball camp free throw shooting contest since then as a result of Ernie's guidance!

Alshon Jeffery starred at wide receiver playing college football at South Carolina. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. As a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, he won Super Bowl LII.
